4th Sharm Rendezvous 2022 Research Competition:

The topic of the Research has to be related to one of the topics included in the Conference Agenda, which are:

• 1: New Regulatory reforms that enable facing new insurance risks. ( Regulation: change on the horizon..).
• 2: Emerging risks are rapidly changing.
• 3: New Technological Trends in Insurance.
• 4: How to design our next steps in the insurance industry to face the future challenges regionally and globally?
• 5: SUSTAINABLE insurance and the road to COP27. How the sector can support climate change resilience?

Eligibility:

• 1: Entrants age should not exceed 50 years old on 1st October 2022.
• 2: The submitted research should not have previously won any other research or scientific competition.
• 3: The research has to be written in English Language.
• 4: The research should be original and not quoted.
• 5: The contestant should not have won one of the "Sharm Rendezvous" competition prizes for the last year.
• 6: The research should be scientifically documented with references and sources.
• 7: Research submitted for the competition is not returned, whether it won or not.
• 8: All IFE employees are not allowed to participate in this competition.

Paper Preparation Requirements.

The paper must be written in English and follow these requirements...

Length:

• Paper should be no longer than 15 pages and no less than 12 pages.
• 1.15 line spaced.

Appearance and Format:

• Font should be Times New Roman — point size 12.
• Papers must be submitted in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.

Charts and Citations

• Charts and graphs should be “stylized”; that is, exhibits should be developed, formatted, and inserted into the document appropriately. Cutting and pasting direct output from statistical software into the document is not satisfactory.
• Datasets, publications, and other documentation must be properly cited.

Title Page and Abstract

• The title page must include the author’s name, Company, and email address.
• An abstract of no more than 150 words must follow the title page. Title and abstract pages are not included in page limits.
• Page headers and/or footers should contain page numbers and a shortened title of the paper. They should not include the author’s name or the name of his or her company. This ensures anonymous review by the judges.
• Anonymity: The judges will not know the entrants’ name or companies.

• Criteria: Papers will be judged according to the following criteria including statement of purpose, thesis development, quality of analysis, and supporting documentation. .
